Asthma:

- Inability to talk

- Rapid breathing (In comparison with baseline) 

- Bluish discoloration of the face or lips 

Fever: 

- fever below the age of 3 months 

- Hypoactivity (Lethargy) 

- Decrease level of consciousness 

- Fever with headache 

- Decrease oral intake (dehydration)

- Persisting vomiting with fever (more than 3 times) 

- Fever with skin rash 

Diarrhea: 

- Diarrhea accompanied with weight loss 

- Diarrhea persisted for more than 2 weeks 

- Diarrhea with mucus or blood 

- Diarrhea with persisting vomiting 

Abdominal Pain: 

- Abdominal pain with vomiting or decrease of oral intake (Dehydration) 

- Inability to defecate 

- Abdominal pain for more than 2 weeks (with no other symptoms) 

- Abdominal pain with any slight change of urine color or amount 

- Abdominal pain with any skin rash 

Headache: 

- Headache with any abnormal movement 

- Loss of consciousness 

- Headache with eye squinting 

- Headache accompanied with vomiting

- Headache for more than 2 weeks 

- Headache with fever 

Newborn's red flags: 

- Less than 5 wet diapers in 24h 

- No feeding for 6-8 hours  

- Fever 

- Deep yellow skin color 

- Pale stool / Chalky like 

- Poor weight gain 

Limping with fever 

 

Scrotal swelling with pain or color change 

 

One sided nostril discharge, not to miss a foreign body
